Club Ohio is excited to host the 27th Nike Challenge Cup Boys Weekend on April 25–26, 2026! We look forward to welcoming back many of the clubs and teams that have supported this event over the years and sincerely appreciate your continued enthusiasm. While we are unable to host international teams this year, we remain committed to providing a competitive, enjoyable, and memorable experience for all participating teams. We encourage teams to apply early and be part of another outstanding weekend of soccer, community, and sportsmanship.

APPLICATION VS. REGISTRATION DEADLINES

The application deadline is the date by which teams must submit their application to be considered for participation in the tournament. The registration deadline is the date by which teams must have all required paperwork uploaded and completed for certification. These distinct deadlines ensure that teams are first considered through their application and then fully registered with all necessary documentation in order to participate.

APPLICATION HINTS

1) Please select the desired level of play. Our goal is to place your team in the most appropriate division based on several factors, including your past performance at our events, results from other competitions, league standings submitted, and the level of play you have requested. Please note that the level you request is one of several factors considered in placement and does not guarantee placement in that specific division.

2) Please include pertinent results from league or event play that do not use GotSport. Providing as much relevant information as possible will help ensure a more accurate placement for your team.

3) For coaches with three (3) or more teams, avoiding conflicts will be very challenging. We strongly recommend having an additional coach available to assist with game coverage, as scheduling conflicts cannot be guaranteed to be avoided.

REMINDERS

1) Teams can purchase event cancellation insurance from U.S. Sports Club Insurance (USSCI) through GotSport during the application process. Insurance can be purchased up to 14 days prior to the event start date.

2) There will also be a new GotSport fee of $20 per team at checkout.

With nearly $1 million raised annually, each Polar Plunge includes exciting activities like costume contests, fundraising awards, and, of course, the main event – the plunge itself. Whether you’re diving in or cheering from the sidelines, you’re helping create opportunities for athletes across Ohio.
