City of Obetz Raffle
Official Rules
SPONSOR & PURPOSE
The City of Obetz 2025 Golf Cart Raffle (the “Raffle”) is a fundraiser conducted by the Big Walnut Community Improvement Corporation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization (“Sponsor”). Proceeds benefit the Obetz Food Pantry and support economic development initiatives in the City of Obetz.
RAFFLE DATES & LOCATIONS
Raffle tickets will be sold at the following Fortress Obetz events:
- Full Throttle Thursdays – every Thursday from May 1, 2025 through August 21, 2025
- Famous Fortress Fireworks – July 3, 2025
- Zucchinifest – August 28–31, 2025 (Ticket sales end at 7:00 PM on August 31)
Tickets will also be sold digitally from 6 PM on May 1, 2025, through 7 PM on August 31, 2025 (the “Raffle Period”), and the link will be shared on the social media channels of the City of Obetz, Fortress Obetz, and Obetz Zucchinifest.
The winning ticket will be drawn and announced during the concerts on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Fortress Obetz. You do not need to be present to win.
ELIGIBILITY
Open to all individuals 18 years of age or older who are physically present in Ohio at the time of ticket purchase. You do not have to be present at the drawing to win. Employees or board members of the Sponsor, and their immediate family/household members, are not eligible. The Raffle is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
HOW TO ENTER
Raffle tickets can be purchased digitally through a link or QR code shared at eligible events. Each ticket purchased counts as one (1) entry. All sales are final. Lost, stolen, or damaged tickets will not be replaced.
TICKET PRICING
Standard ticket bundles are as follows:
- 1 ticket for $10
- 3 tickets for $20
WINNER SELECTION & ANNOUNCEMENT
One (1) ticket will be randomly drawn on August 31, 2025, from all eligible tickets sold during the Raffle Period. The winning number will be announced on the Zucchinifest concert main stage, posted on the City of Obetz website and City of Obetz, Fortress Obetz, and Zucchinifest social media channels, and called/texted/emailed at provided contact information within 24 hours. The winner receives a 2025 Evolution Maverick 4 Golf Cart (“Grand Prize”).
CLAIMING A PRIZE
The winner must claim their prize by contacting sadams@obetz.gov or calling 614-491-1080 within 30 days of the drawing. A government-issued photo ID and confirmation email of ticket purchased are required. If the prize is not claimed in time, it is forfeited and retained by the Big Walnut Community Improvement Corporation.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
- Raffle Tickets are non-transferable and may not be resold.
- Participants grant the City of Obetz permission to use their name, likeness, and photo for promotional purposes.
- The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the raffle if necessary.
- By participating, entrants release and hold harmless the City of Obetz and affiliated entities from any liability arising from the raffle.
- By submitting your name, email, and phone number through the digital raffle system, you consent to receive communications from the City of Obetz, including updates and promotional messages related to future events and initiatives. You may opt out of these communications at any time.
GOVERNING LAW
This Raffle is governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.
